THE GOLDEN RULES

Permission to Pass: The Storyteller may skip any card whose memory feels too heavy or too private to share. Respect the silence as much as the story.

Full Presence: Put away phones and lean in. The magic happens in eye contact and follow-up questions. The best question is often the one sparked by the answer you just heard.

The Storyteller's Chair: Only one person holds the floor at a time. The listener's job is to be curious — not to respond with their own story just yet.

Follow the Thread: Don't rush to the next card. If a story sparks a question that isn't in the deck, follow it. The best conversations always go off-script.
